Specifying a home page

The home page is the first page that you see each time you start Internet Explorer. You can return to the home page at any time by clicking the Home button on the toolbar.

When you create an Internet account with GRU, your home page is set to www.gru.net. We do this to provide you easy access to the features provided to you as a GRU.net customer. However, you can change your home page to any Web page that you like. It's a good idea to choose a page that you want to view frequently, or one that has links to the types of information you look for most often.

To change your home page:

  • In Internet Explorer, click the Tools menu, and click Internet Options.
  • On the General tab, under Home page, do one of the following:
  1. In the Address box, type the address of the Web page you want to use as your home page.
  2. Click Use Current to make the currently displayed Web page your home page.
  3. Click Use Default to use www.msn.com as your home page.
  4. Click Use Blank to have a blank page displayed as your home page.
  • Click OK.
