E-mailing Web pages to others

If you find a Web page you would like to share with someone else, you can send it in an e-mail message as long as you have an e-mail account set up on that computer. Keep in mind that if the Web page contains many images, it might take a long time to send and receive an e-mail message that contains the entire page. If this is the case, it might be a good idea to send a link to the page instead.

To e-mail a Web page using Internet Explorer:

  • Browse to the page you would like to e-mail.
  • Click the File menu, and point to Send.
  • Do one of the following:
  1. To send the entire page in an e-mail message, click Page by E-mail.
  2. To send a link to the page with an e-mail message, click Link by E-mail.
  • In the To box of the message window, type the e-mail address of the person you want to send the page to. You can also edit the subject or the body of the message.
  • Click Send.
